Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Greetings!

Have you or your loved ones scheduled an annual mammogram?  Every year we ask this question and every year we get a laugh from our favorite men as they imagine themselves following our advice. And then last year one of our radio friends lost his father to breast cancer.  Yes, his father.  While less than one percent of breast cancer survivors are male, the disease still strikes one in 1,000 men and it’s important for both women and men to talk to a doctor about any changes in your body.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and you can help fight this terrible disease by adding a glass bead to our hope jar for every pound you lose. At the end of October we’ll donate a dollar for every bead collected up to $1000 dollars. Let’s all work together to fill the jar with beads!
